Regular Season Round 7: Dos Hermanas - Huelva 64-68

There was a minor upset when leader Dos Hermanas (3-2) was defeated at home by third ranked Huelva (3-1) 68-64 on Sunday. It was a key game for the top position in Group D-B. Huelva made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. American forward Fitzgerald White (201-91, college: Union, KY) fired 13 points and 5 assists for the winners. British forward Dean Wanliss (196-89, college: Iowa Central CC) chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds. Four Huelva players scored in double figures. Manuel Juan Campos produced 14 points and forward Fernando Cotan (194-91) added 10 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Huelva keeps a position of Group D-B leader, which they share with DKV San Fernando and ULB OH!TELS. Newly promoted Dos Hermanas dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. Huelva will face Matenglish (#9) in San Fernando in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Dos Hermanas will play on the road against DKV San Fernando (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
