Rather predictable result in San Fernando where sixth ranked Real Betis II (2-1) beat 9th ranked Matenglish (1-5) 70-61 on Sunday. Strangely Matenglish outrebounded Real Betis II 58-32 including a 38-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Pablo Marin fired 16 points for the winners. Adrian Doblado chipped in 12 points. Real Betis II's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Daniel Cantero (192-97) produced 21 points and 8 rebounds and Precious Uzamere added 17 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Real Betis II moved-up to fifth place in Group D-B. Matenglish lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with five games lost. Real Betis II will have a break next round. Matenglish will play on the road against the league's leader Huelva (#1) and hope to win that game.
