Regular Season Round 7: Senigallia - Teramo 87-75

Rather predictable result when eleventh ranked Senigallia (3-4) defeated at home 14th ranked Teramo (1-5) 87-75 on Sunday. Teramo was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for guard Marco Giacomini (182-94) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Naturalized Argentinian point guard Emiliano Paparella (184-83, agency: Players Group) helped adding 16 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. At the losing side swingman Giorgio Di-Bonaventura (192-97) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds and guard Marco Montanari (190-98) scored 17 points. Five Senigallia and four Teramo players scored in double figures. Teramo's coach Manuel Cilio let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Senigallia moved-up to seventh place in B, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser Teramo keeps the fourteenth position with five games lost. Senigallia will face Ancona (#15) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Teramo will play against Chieti and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
