Basketligan top team - Koping Stars (9-1) added another victory to their record. This time they beat seventh ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (2-6) 84-79. Norrkoping Dolphins were ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 45-36 second half run of Koping Stars. Strangely Norrkoping Dolphins outrebounded Koping Stars 44-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. Norrkoping Dolphins were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Jeremy Combs (201-95, college: Texas Southern) scored 25 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and British Shane Walker (208-87, college: Loyola, MD) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Koping Stars players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Ladarien Griffin (198, college: St.Bonaventure) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Jeril Taylor (193-94, college: S.Indiana) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds.
