Regular Season Round 15: Kagawa FA - Sendai 89ers 82-80

The most exciting game of round 15 in the B2 League took place in Takamatsu. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of their close opponent Sendai 89ers (10-5) to second ranked Kagawa FA (9-4) 82-80 in the game for the second place. The best player for the winners was American guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) who scored 28 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import forward Kevin Kotzur (203-89, college: St.Mary's, TX) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds. Woodbury is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Jerome Tillman (201-87, college: Ohio, agency: Inception Sports) who recorded 13 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Taisei Shirato (181-95) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Kagawa FA have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 9-4 record having five points less than leader Hiroshima D. which they share with defeated Sendai 89ers. Sendai 89ers at the other side keep the second position with five games lost. Kagawa FA are looking forward to face Yamagata (#6) on the road in the next round. Sendai 89ers will play against Koshigaya A. (#6) and are hoping to win this game.
