Regular Season Round 15: Miami Heat - Denver N. 89-109

The most crucial game of the last day was a loss of Heat (5-2) in Miami on Tuesday night. Hosts were rolled over by Nuggets (5-2) 109-89. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Heat. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Nuggets dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Heat's 46. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists. It was a great evening for Canadian swingman Jamal Murray (198-97, college: Kentucky) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Will Barton (198-91, college: Memphis) helped adding 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Nuggets players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Jimmy Butler (201-89, college: Marquette) with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Canadian Kelly Olynyk (213-91, college: Gonzaga) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nuggets maintains first place with 5-2 record, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Heat.
