Second ranked Sendai 89ers (10-5) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging their close opponent Kagawa FA (9-4) 97-94 in the fight for the second place. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Kagawa FA. Sendai 89ers made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Kagawa FA at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. Sendai 89ers will play against Koshigaya A. (#6) in Tokyo in the next round. Kagawa FA will play on the road against Yamagata (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
