Regular Season Round 6: Mark - Hogsbo 76-95

Bottom-ranked Mark is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to top-ranked Hogsbo (5-0) 95-76. The game without a history. Hogsbo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Hogsbo outrebounded Mark 50-27 including a 22-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American center Kourtni Perry (188-93, college: Central State) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds. Canadian point guard Cassandra Nofuente (172-93) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Five Hogsbo players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Shay Burnett (175-96, college: Elon) who recorded 39 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and her fellow American import guard Cierra Johnson (175, college: UT Arlington) added 6 points and 5 assists respectively. Mark's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Hogsbo have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Mark at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Hogsbo's next round opponent will be A3 Basket (#5) in Umea. Mark will play against Wetterbygden (#6) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
