The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Los Leones as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Los Leones smashed bottom-ranked Quilicura in Quilpue 102-83. Los Leones made 21-of-25 charity shots (84.0 percent) during the game. The former international guard Barham Amor (185-96) had a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Evandro Arteaga (178-83) chipped in 21 points and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American Trevon Young (198-95, college: Eckerd) with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds and American-Jamaican power forward Phil Henry (203-91, college: E.New Mexico) scored 23 points. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with CD Castro. Quilicura at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost.
