Regular Season Round 9: Peja - Rahoveci 75-83

The game between Top Four teams took place in Peja. 4th placed host Peja (4-4) lost to leader Rahoveci (6-0) 83-75. American guard Christian Bradford (185-95, college: Radford) stepped up and scored 16 points and 9 assists for the winners and Croatian forward Jure Gunjina (203-92, college: Georgia SW) chipped in 14 points and 11 rebounds. Bradford is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was Croatian forward Henrik Sirko (198-93) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds and international point guard Malcolm Armstead (185-89, college: Wichita St., agency: Mansfield and Associates) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Rahoveci have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-0 record. Peja at the other side dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with Prizreni. Rahoveci are looking forward to face Prishtina (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Peja will play against Prizreni and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
