They brought some defensive toughness making 12 blocks. 27 personal fouls committed by Trail Blazers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Kawhi Leonard (201-91, college: San Diego St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Louis Williams (185-86) contributed with 26 points and 8 assists for the winners. Clippers' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Center Hassan Whiteside (213-89, college: Marshall) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 19 rebounds and point guard Damian Lillard (190-90, college: Weber St.) added 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Trail Blazers.
