Regular Season Round 6: Partizan - Montana 66-68

Important game to mention about took place in Beograd. Third ranked Bulgarian Montana 2003 (5-1) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 6th ranked Serbian Partizan (2-4) 68-66 on Thursday evening. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Montana 2003 forced 19 Partizan turnovers. Power forward Dimana Georgieva (188-88) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Radostina Dimitrova (181-94) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Milica Indjic (-92) with 16 points and 5 assists and Bosnian forward Gorana Marjanovic (188-0) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Defending Bulgarian champion maintains third position with 5-1 record behind leader Beroe. Partizan at the other side keeps the sixth place with four games lost. They share the position with Banovici. Montana 2003 will play against league's leader Beroe in Stara Zagora in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Partizan will play on the road against the league's second-placed Celje (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
