Regular Season Round 16: Gunma - FE Nagoya 96-78

An interesting game for Gunma (12-4) which hosted in Gunma 4th ranked FE Nagoya (9-8). First ranked Gunma had an easy win 96-78. Gunma dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to FE Nagoya's 38. They outrebounded FE Nagoya 38-22 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was a very good performance for Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-93, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 31 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Nigerian forward Abdullahi Kuso (206-84, college: Tallahassee CC) contributed with 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Guard Kei Sugimoto (182-92) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists and American forward Josh Hawkinson (208-95, college: WSU, agency: Wasserman) added 20 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for FE Nagoya. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gunma have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-4 record, which they share with Nishinomiya S. FE Nagoya lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
