Regular Season Round 9: Mulhouse - Besancon 76-62

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth ranked Mulhouse and 10th ranked Besancon had identical 2-6 record. This time Mulhouse used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Besancon 76-62 on Friday night. Mulhouse forced 20 Besancon turnovers. Strangely Besancon outrebounded Mulhouse 42-24 including 27 on the defensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Mulhouse made 7 blocks. Mulhouse (3-6) moved-up to tenth place in Group B. Besancon lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with seven games lost. Mulhouse will face Feurs EF (#13) on the road in the next round. Besancon will play against Kaysersberg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
