Regular Season Round 16: Ehime OV - Aomori W. 76-78

A very interesting game took place in Matsuyama. It ended with only two-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengers Orange Vikings (7-10) to fifth ranked Aomori W. (5-11) 78-76 on Friday evening. Aomori W. players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. South Sudanese-American forward Angelo Chol (206-93, college: San Diego St.) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Toshio Kan (184-94) chipped in 13 points and 5 assists. Aomori W.'s coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) produced 36 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and American-Puerto Rican center Chris Brady (208-95, college: Monmouth) added 5 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Aomori W. maintains fifth position with 5-11 record. Orange Vikings at the other side keep the fourth place with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
