The game between second ranked Hornets (4-5) and fifth ranked Pelicans (2-7) was the most important one in the last day on Saturday night. Hornets were defeated by Pelicans in a tough game in New Orleans 110-115. Pelicans forced 21 Hornets turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. 27 personal fouls committed by Hornets helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Brandon Ingram (206-97, college: Duke) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Jrue Holiday (193-90, college: UCLA) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners. Point guard Devonte Graham (187-95, college: Kansas) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists and point guard Terry Rozier (185-94, college: Louisville) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Hornets. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Pelicans moved-up to fourth place, which they share with New York K. and Memphis G. Hornets at the other side keep the second position with five games lost. They share it with OKC Thunder. Pelicans will have a break next day, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Hornets will play at home against 76ers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
