Regular Season Round 8: Bembibre - Gipuzkoa UPV 63-70

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both thirteenth ranked Gipuzkoa UPV and 12th ranked Socinsa Bembibre had identical 1-6 record. But Socinsa Bembibre was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from San Sebastian 70-63. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Socinsa Bembibre won third quarter 25-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Gipuzkoa UPV made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Gipuzkoa UPV (2-6) moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Mann Filter and Promete. Socinsa Bembibre at the other side dropped to the thirteenth position with seven games lost. Gipuzkoa UPV's next round opponent will be Promete (#11) in Logrono. Socinsa Bembibre will play at home against Cadi La Seu and hope to win that game.
