Very important is a road loss of second ranked UBU Tizona (6-3) against tenth ranked Marbella (3-6) on Saturday night. Visiting UBU Tizona was defeated by Marbella in a tough game in Marbella 83-89. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 55.2 percentage. American guard Martyce Kimbrough (185-96, college: Findlay, OH, agency: Duran International) stepped up and scored 29 points for the winners and Alejandro Navajas (203-86, agency: Promo Sport ID) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was point guard Ayoze Alonso (187-91) with 19 points and point guard Arturo Fernandez (182-90) scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Marbella and four UBU Tizona players scored in double figures. Despite that victory Marbella went down to twelfth position (Silver) due to points difference. UBU Tizona at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the second place with three games lost. Marbella will meet higher ranked Zornotza (#7) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. UBU Tizona will play against the league's leader Juaristi ISB (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
