Regular Season Round 19: Boston C. - San Antonio S. 135-115

An interesting game for Celtics (7-1) which hosted in Boston 3rd placed Spurs (5-4). First ranked Celtics had an easy win 135-115. They made 25-of-28 charity shots (89.3 percent) during the game. Strangely Spurs outrebounded Celtics 57-43 including a 21-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Celtics brought some defensive toughness making 11 blocks. It was a great evening for forward Jaylen Brown (201-96, college: California) who led his team to a victory scoring 30 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Kemba Walker (185-90, college: Connecticut) helped adding 26 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. At the losing side swingman DeMar DeRozan (201-89, college: USC) responded with 22 points and 4 assists and Australian point guard Patrick Mills (183-88, college: St.Mary's, CA) scored 20 points. Five Celtics and four Spurs players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Celtics have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 7-1 record, which they share with LA Lakers.
