Regular Season Round 6: Huddinge - RIG Mark 73-89

Very predictable result when first ranked RIG Mark (6-1) won against on the road bottom-ranked Huddinge (0-5) 89-73 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by RIG Mark. Huddinge was better in second period 25-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. RIG Mark forced 24 Huddinge turnovers and outrebounded them 48-36 including 20 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Huddinge's players. It was a good game for guard Alan Brzezinski (187-1) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Romeo Myrthil (181-2) contributed with 18 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Jamaal Sakariya (-93) replied with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds and Amund Morin added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Huddinge. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. RIG Mark have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position in South with 6-1 record. Loser Huddinge still closes the standings with five games lost. RIG Mark will have a break next round. Huddinge will play against Wetterbygden 2 (#8) in Huskvarna and hopes to get finally their first victory.
