Bottom-ranked Marghera is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their sixth consecutive match to fifth ranked Sarcedo (5-2) 61-52. Sarcedo forced 19 Marghera turnovers and outrebounded them 45-32 including 33 on the defensive glass. Guard Silvia Viviani (168-1) fired 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Marina Fumagalli (175-93) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Sarcedo players scored in double figures. Naturalized Argentinian Gisel Villarruel (173-95) produced 18 points and 4 steals and Giorgia Callegari (173-96) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Sarcedo maintains fifth place in A2 with 5-2 record.
