Undefeated Mogi (4-1) recorded its first loss on the court of fourteenth ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru. Visitors were defeated by Paschoalotto/Bauru 87-75. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Mogi. Paschoalotto/Bauru dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Mogi's 34. Worth to mention a great performance of Canadian Nicholas Wiggins (198-91, college: Z*Orangeville A's) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 8 rebounds. Samuel Ferreira (187-99) contributed with 15 points and 4 steals for the winners. The former international Luis-Felipe Gruber (206-85) answered with 16 points and 5 rebounds and Fabricio Russo (196-85) added 12 points in the effort for Mogi. Mogi's coach Jorge Guerra let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Paschoalotto/Bauru (2-4) moved-up to twelfth place. Mogi at the other side keeps the fourth position with one game lost. Paschoalotto/Bauru will play against higher ranked Brasilia (#9) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Mogi will play against the league's second-placed Flamengo (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
