Regular Season Round 8: Chalon - Dijon 68-69

Important game to mention about took place in Chalon. Top-ranked Dijon (8-0) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 5th ranked Chalon (5-3) 69-68 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Chalon. Dijon forced 21 Chalon turnovers. Strangely Chalon outrebounded Dijon 43-27 including 31 on the defensive glass. Chalon was plagued by 33 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Dimitri Radnic (193-99) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals and Antoine Rojewski who added 16 points during the contest. Four Dijon players scored in double figures. Center Yvann MBaya (209-1) responded with 14 points and 9 rebounds and guard Quentin Diboundje-Eyobo (187-2) scored 9 points and 9 rebounds. Chalon's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Dijon have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 8-0 record behind leader Cholet. Chalon at the other side keeps the fifth place with three games lost. They share the position with Pau-Lacq-Orthez and Strasbourg. Dijon will play against Monaco (#17) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Chalon will play against Strasbourg (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
