Regular Season Round 8: Le Mans - Gravelines 70-74

Rather predictable result when seventh ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (5-3) beat on the road 10th ranked Le Mans (3-5) 74-70. The winners were led by American forward Erik McCree (201-93, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Pensack Sports) who scored that evening 20 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import guard Trey Lewis (188-92, college: Louisville) supported him with 13 points. Even 13 points and 8 assists by American-Georgian point guard Taurean Green (184-85, college: Florida) did not help to save the game for Le Mans. Naturalized Chadian power forward Jacques Alingue (202-88) added 10 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Gravelines-Dunkerque have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 5-3 record. Le Mans at the other side keeps the tenth place with five games lost. Gravelines-Dunkerque's next round opponent will be Chalons-Reims (#8) at home. Le Mans will play against Chorale de Roanne and hope to win that game.
