The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Lahti won third quarter 22-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was guard Santeri Makkonen (195-1) who scored 31 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Kalle Koponen (190-2) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Sykki players scored in double figures. Sykki's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
