Regular Season Round 6: Samobor - Bosco 77-78

KK Samobor (5-1) recorded its first loss at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by tenth ranked Bosco (2-4) 78-77. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of KK Samobor. Strangely KK Samobor outrebounded Bosco 38-26 including 26 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was swingman Luka Katura (194-89) who scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Marin Zrnic (200-88, agency: PEPI SPORT) chipped in 25 points. Four Bosco players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international center Luka Zoric (211-84) who recorded a double-double by scoring 47 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds and swingman Josip Skara (193-94) added 13 points and 5 assists respectively. Bosco moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted KK Samobor keeps the second position with one game lost. Bosco is looking forward to face higher ranked Kastela (#4) in Kastela Sucurac in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. KK Samobor will play on the road against Pula 1981 and is hoping to win this game.
