No shocking result in a game when leader Bolzano BK (6-0) beat at home 9th ranked San Martino (2-4) 57-47 on Saturday. Bolzano BK made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Bolzano BK outrebounded San Martino 42-31 including 29 on the defensive glass. It was a very good performance for naturalized Senegalese guard Safy Fall (176-89) who helped to win the game recording 10 points and 8 rebounds. Croatian center Katarina Trehub (191-97) contributed with 9 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Forward Sara Nezaj (180-1) answered with 7 points and 7 rebounds and guard Claudia Amabiglia (172-98) added 8 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for San Martino. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Bolzano BK maintains second place in A2 with 6-0 record behind leader Moncalieri. Loser San Martino dropped to the eleventh position with four games lost. Bolzano BK will face Carugate (#7) in Corugate in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. San Martino will play at home against Mantova (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
