Regular Season Round 10: Hotshots - NLEX RW 85-86

Important game to mention about took place in Pasig City. First ranked NLEX RW (8-1) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 6th ranked Hotshots (5-5) 86-85 on Sunday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hotshots. NLEX RW players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Manny Harris (196-89, college: Michigan, agency: Network Sports International) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists. JR Quinahan (198-84) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Guard Paul Dalistan (185-89) replied with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Ian-Paul Sangalang (201-91) added 19 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Hotshots. Four Hotshots players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. NLEX RW have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Despite that victory NLEX RW went down to second position due to points difference. Hotshots at the other side keep the sixth place with five games lost. NLEX RW will play against North Port (#10) in Pasig in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hotshots will have a break next round.
