The game in Ferrara was also quite interesting. 4th placed San Severo (4-3) played at the court of fifth ranked Kleb Ferrara (5-2). Kleb Ferrara managed to secure a 6-point victory 93-87 on Sunday. It was a key game for the second position in A2. Kleb Ferrara looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American players dominated the game. It was a very good performance for point guard Sekou Wiggs (193-94, college: Alaska-Anch.) who helped to win the game recording 27 points. Swingman Folarin Campbell (193-86, college: GMU) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Power forward Markus Kennedy (206-91, college: SMU) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and guard Tre Demps (188-93, college: Northwestern, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 22 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for San Severo. Kleb Ferrara moved-up to second place in A2. Newly promoted San Severo dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. Kleb Ferrara will face UCC Piacenza (#7) in Casalpusterlengo in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. San Severo will play at home against Pompea MNV and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
