Regular Season Round 6: Talje - RIG Mark 100-98 OT

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of RIG Mark (6-1) on the court of third ranked Talje Knights on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by Talje Knights in overtime 100-98. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of RIG Mark. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in South. The hosts trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 23-18 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 2-point victory in overtime. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. RIG Mark's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Talje Knights have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in South. RIG Mark at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. Talje Knights are looking forward to face Hogland (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. RIG Mark will have a break next round.
