Regular Season Round 4: Beijing Ducks - Qingdao E. 115-104

CBA top team - Beijing Ducks (4-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat ninth ranked Eagles (2-2) 115-104. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Eagles. Beijing Ducks made 26-of-30 charity shots (86.7 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Eagles were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by Taiwanese-American point guard Jeremy Lin (190-88, college: Harvard) who scored that evening 27 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and Croatian-American center Justin Hamilton (213-90, college: LSU) supported him with 19 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Even 25 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals by Bulgarian-American point guard Darius Adams (188-89, college: Indianapolis, agency: Wasserman) did not help to save the game for Eagles. American power forward Dakari Johnson (213-95, college: Kentucky) added 17 points and 13 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Beijing Ducks have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record, which they share with Jilin NE T. and Xinjiang FT. Eagles at the other side dropped to the tenth place with two games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Beijing Ducks will play against Jiangsu Dragons (#7) in Nanjing in the next round where they are favorite. Eagles will play at home against Long-Lions and hope to get back on the winning track.
