Regular Season Round 22: OKC Thunder - Indiana P 85-111

Date: November 12, 2019
No shocking result in a game when second ranked Pacers (7-4) crushed 5th ranked Thunder (4-7) in Oklahoma City 111-85 on Tuesday. Pacers dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Thunder's 46. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a very good performance for Lithuanian-American power forward Domantas Sabonis (209-96, college: Gonzaga) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds. Guard Malcolm Brogdon (196-92, college: Virginia) contributed with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Point guard Chris Paul (183-85, college: Wake Forest) replied with 7 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and Italian Danilo Gallinari (208-88) added 14 points (made all of his eight free throws) in the effort for Thunder. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pacers have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 7-4 record behind leader Utah Jazz. Loser Thunder dropped to the fourth place with seven games lost.
