Very expected game in Washington where 5th ranked Wizards (2-7) were defeated by first ranked Celtics (9-1) 140-133 on Wednesday. Celtics made 26-of-29 free shots (89.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. It was a great evening for point guard Kemba Walker (185-90, college: Connecticut) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Jaylen Brown (201-96, college: California) helped adding 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Bradley Beal (196-93, college: Florida) responded with 44 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 6 assists and Japanese forward Rui Hachimura (203-98, college: Gonzaga) scored 21 points. Five Celtics and four Wizards players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the ninth consecutive win for Celtics. They maintain first place with 9-1 record. Wizards lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifth position with seven games lost.
