The most exciting game of day 24 in the NBA took place in Dallas. This game ended with only three-point home defeat of second-best Mavericks (6-5) to fifth ranked Knicks (3-9) 106-103 on Thursday evening. It was a good game for forward Julius Randle (206-94, college: Kentucky) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Dennis Smith-Jr (190-97, college: NC State) contributed with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Slovenian guard Luka Doncic (201-99) replied with a triple-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 11 assists and Latvian power forward Kristaps Porzingis (221-95) added 20 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Mavericks. Four Knicks and five Mavericks players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Knicks maintains fifth position with 3-9 record. Mavericks at the other side keep the second place with five games lost.
