Regular Season Round 4: Toufarghan - Chemidor 81-88

The biggest surprise of round 4 was guest Chemidor's (#5) road victory over Toufarghan (#6) 88-81 on Thursday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Toufarghan. Chemidor shot 25 for 36 from the free-throw line, while Toufarghan only scored nine points from the stripe. 27 personal fouls committed by Toufarghan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International Mohammad Jamshidi (199-91) fired 49 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds for the winners. International forward Michael Rostampour (203-91, college: Omaha) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Canadian guard Kelvin Amayo (193-92, college: Loyola Mary) produced 29 points and 4 assists and Mohsen Mohammadi (195-90) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Toufarghan's coach Siamak Veisi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Chemidor maintains fifth position with 3-1 record. Newly promoted Toufarghan keeps the sixth place with two games lost. They share the position with Mashad and Exxon SC.
