Regular Season Round 25: Sacramento K. - LA Lakers 97-99

Fourth-ranked Kings (4-7) used its home court advantage to challenge first ranked Lakers (10-2) in Sacramento on Friday. The visitors from Los Angeles managed to secure only two-point victory 99-97. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kings. Lakers made 20-of-22 free shots (90.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of LeBron James (203-84) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 assists (made all of his seven free throws). Center Anthony Davis (208-93, college: Kentucky) contributed with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Bahamas guard Buddy Hield (193-93, college: Oklahoma) answered with 21 points and 8 rebounds and Serbian swingman Bogdan Bogdanovic (198-92) added 18 points and 5 assists in the effort for Kings. Five Lakers and four Kings players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Lakers have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-2 record. Kings at the other side dropped to the third position with seven games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
