Regular Season Round 6: Gries/Oberhoffen - Evreux 93-90

A very interesting game took place in Bischwiller. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 11th ranked ALM Evreux (2-4) to twelfth ranked Gries/Oberhoffen (3-3) 93-90 on Friday evening. Gries/Oberhoffen made 21-of-25 charity shots (84.0 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. 27 personal fouls committed by ALM Evreux helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Kevin Dinal (202-93) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and Spanish point guard Josep Franch (193-91) supported him with 14 points and 9 assists. Five Gries/Oberhoffen players scored in double figures. Gries/Oberhoffen's coach Ludovic Pouillart allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 19 points and 9 assists by Spanish-Venezuelan swingman Jhornan Zamora (196-89) did not help to save the game for ALM Evreux. Florent Tortosa (198-89) added 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Gries/Oberhoffen moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 4 other teams. ALM Evreux at the other side dropped to the thirteenth position with four games lost. Gries/Oberhoffen's next round opponent will be Saint Chamond (#11) on the road. ALM Evreux will play against Lille Metropole and hope to win that game.
