The most exciting game of round 18 in the B2 League took place in Tokyo. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 4th ranked Orange Vikings (8-11) to sixth ranked Koshigaya A. (4-15) 87-86 on Friday evening. Koshigaya A. made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward Alex Stepheson (208-87, college: USC) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 16 rebounds. American guard Charles Hinkle (198-88, college: American) chipped in 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Puerto Rican center Chris Brady (208-95, college: Monmouth) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 17 rebounds and American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Five Orange Vikings players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Koshigaya A. maintains sixth position with 4-15 record. Orange Vikings at the other side keep the fourth place with 11 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
