Regular Season Round 9: AZS PCz - UR Krakow 80-91

UR Krakow's road win over 5th ranked AZS PCz 91-80 was very exciting. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of AZS PCz. UR Krakow forced 20 AZS PCz turnovers and had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. AZS PCz was plagued by 34 personal fouls down the stretch. Power forward Tomasz Palmowski (199-97) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners and Adrian Warszawski (201-96) chipped in 16 points and 12 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Tomasz Nogalski (192-79) with 29 points and 9 rebounds and guard Adrian Placzek (181-85) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. UR Krakow (5-4) moved-up to seventh place in Group C. Loser AZS PCz keeps the fifth position with three games lost.
