Regular Season Round 9: Olginate - Vigevano 82-77

There was a surprise result when twelfth ranked Olginate (4-5) won against at home higher ranked Vigevano (4-5) 82-77 on Saturday. It was a good game for swingman Alessio Donadoni (197-97, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Fabio Bugatti (198-98, agency: SPORTlab Agency) contributed with 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Olginate's coach Massimo Meneguzzo used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Power forward Giacomo Filippini (204-91) answered with 19 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Giacomo DellAgnello (199-94) added 18 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) in the effort for Vigevano. Five Olginate and four Vigevano players scored in double figures. Olginate moved-up to eighth place in B, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Vigevano. Vigevano lost third consecutive game. Olginate will face higher ranked Omnia Basket (#7) in Pavia in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
