Important game to mention about took place in Saitama. Eighth ranked Saitama Broncos (7-7) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Tokyo HT (8-8) 74-71 on Saturday evening. It was a great evening for Thailand power forward Jalen Robinson (206-93, college: Dalton St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Rikiya Yamaguchi (180-96) helped adding 16 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Burkinabe center Niyokwizera Yves (200-93) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and American forward Jahmar Thorpe (198-84, college: Houston) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Four Tokyo HT players scored in double figures. Saitama Broncos maintains eighth place with 7-7 record. Tokyo HT at the other side dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. Saitama Broncos will again play against higher ranked Tokyo HT (#7) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Tokyo HT will have a break next round.
