Regular Season Round 11: Froya Basket - Asker Aliens 104-84

No shocking result in a game in Laksevag where seventh ranked Froya Basket (5-7) smashed bottom-ranked Asker Aliens (1-10) 104-84 on Saturday. Froya Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Asker Aliens' 40. They outrebounded Asker Aliens 35-20 including a 26-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Froya Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for Serbian guard Ognjen Nisavic (195-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 40 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Serbian guard Nikola Vasojevic (196-86) helped adding 25 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Four Froya Basket players scored in double figures. American point guard Eric Gilchrese (183-87, college: UNH) responded with 40 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 8 assists and Swedish forward Plaisir Mukoko (198-91) scored 21 points. Froya Basket moved-up to fifth place. Asker Aliens lost their sixth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
