Regular Season Round 26: Portland TB - San Antonio S. 121-116
Date: November 16, 2019
We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifth ranked Trail Blazers (5-8) beat one of their biggest challengers Spurs (5-8) in Portland 121-116 on Saturday. Trail Blazers made 24-of-26 free shots (92.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Guard CJ McCollum (193-91, college: Lehigh) orchestrated the victory by scoring 32 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Point guard Damian Lillard (190-90, college: Weber St.) contributed with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (was perfect 13-for-13 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners. Power forward LaMarcus Aldridge (211-85, college: Texas) replied with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 13 rebounds and swingman DeMar DeRozan (201-89, college: USC) added 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Spurs.
