Regular Season Round 10: Iskra Svit - Inter Bratislava 69-106

SBL top team - Inter Bratislava (7-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Iskra Svit (4-5) 106-69. Inter Bratislava dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Iskra Svit's 44. Inter Bratislava forced 19 Iskra Svit turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Mario Ihring (192-98, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 4 assists. American forward Wes Alcegaire (198-94, college: Bowling Green) contributed with 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures. Inter Bratislava's coach Aramis Naglic felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American forward Phil Carr (203-95, college: Morgan St.) replied with 25 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Adam Moncek (183-0) added 8 points and 5 assists in the effort for Iskra Svit. Defending champion maintains first position with 7-1 record. Iskra Svit at the other side dropped to the sixth place with five games lost. Inter Bratislava's next round opponent will be Levice (#5) at home. Iskra Svit will play against Handlova and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
