Regular Season Round 9: Badalones - Sant Adria 86-93

Not a big story in a game when 5th ranked Badalones (5-4) lost at home to third ranked Sant Adria (7-2) 93-86 on Saturday. It was a good game for center Oscar Amo (205-97) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Power forward Alberto Reyes (195-90) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Sant Adria's coach Mario Lousame let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Guard Eric Balague (189-90) answered with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Pedro Cuesta (190-77) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Badalones. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Sant Adria. They moved-up to second place in Group C-B. Newly promoted Badalones keeps the fifth position with four games lost. Sant Adria will face Barbera (#13) in Barcelona in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Badalones will play on the road against Cornella (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
