Very important is a road loss of second ranked Toyoda Gosei (11-4) against sixth ranked Shizuoka (8-5) on Saturday night. Visiting Toyoda Gosei was crushed by Shizuoka in Shizuoka 88-69. They made 25-of-26 free shots (96.2 percent) during the game, while Toyoda Gosei only scored five points from the stripe. It was an exceptional evening for Beninese forward Muusa Dama (206-95, college: EIU, agency: Blacktop Management) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 15 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). American forward Roschon Prince (198-94, college: Detroit Mercy) accounted for 23 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side. American forward JD Weatherspoon (198-92, college: Toledo) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import Luke Evans (203-91, college: CBU) added 19 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Toyoda Gosei in the defeat. Four Toyoda Gosei players scored in double figures. Shizuoka moved-up to fifth place. Toyoda Gosei lost third consecutive game. They keep the second position with four games lost. Shizuoka will again meet at home league's second-placed Toyoda Gosei in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Toyoda Gosei will have a break next round.
