Regular Season Round 10: Pardinyes-L. - Albacete 92-61

There was a small surprise when eleventh ranked Pardinyes-L. (3-7) rolled over 8th ranked Albacete (4-6) in Lleida 92-61 on Saturday. Pardinyes-L. dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Albacete's 22. Pardinyes-L. forced 19 Albacete turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 3 passes made by Albacete's players. Quite impressive performance for American swingman Wendell Davis (198-95, college: Ashland, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 assists. Guard Raul Lobaco (195-0, agency: Dynamics Global Management) contributed with 11 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Five Pardinyes-L. players scored in double figures. American-Dominican Eddy Polanco (190-94, college: SE Louisiana) replied with 20 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Billy McDonald (198-94, college: Caldwell) added 14 points in the effort for Albacete. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Pardinyes-L. maintains eleventh position in Silver with 3-7 record. Loser Albacete keeps the eighth place with six games lost. Pardinyes-L. will face higher ranked La Roda (#10) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
