Regular Season Round 18: Koshigaya A. - Ehime OV 84-97

There was no surprise in Tokyo where 6th ranked Koshigaya A. (4-15) was defeated by fourth ranked Orange Vikings (8-11) 97-84 on Saturday. Orange Vikings looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) who scored 35 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 5 assists. American-Puerto Rican center Chris Brady (208-95, college: Monmouth) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points, 18 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Alex Stepheson (208-87, college: USC) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds and Tomoya Ochiai (195-87) added 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Orange Vikings maintains fourth position with 8-11 record. Newly promoted Koshigaya A. keeps the sixth place with 15 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
