Very expected game when 13th ranked Viterbo (2-5) was crushed at home by seventh ranked Umbertide (4-2) 78-53. Umbertide dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Viterbo's 20. Umbertide had a 35-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. Polish Aneta Kotnis (186-89) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. Swingman Flavia De-Cassan (177-98, agency: SPORTlab Agency) contributed with 10 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Gaia Cirotti (-97) replied with 9 points and 5 rebounds and Veronica Martin added 10 points in the effort for Viterbo. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
