No shocking result in a game when thirteenth ranked Kotwica (3-7) beat 15th ranked Biofarm PZN (3-7) in Kolobrzeg 88-77 on Sunday. Naturalized Canadian forward Nick Madray (206-94, college: Wagner) notched a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Bartosz Wrobel (190-95, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 19 points and 4 assists. Even 15 points and 6 rebounds by Filip Struski (200-94) did not help to save the game for Biofarm PZN. Point guard Dawid Brek (187-89, agency: Promotex) added 17 points and 4 assists for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kotwica moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Pogon Prudnik and Biofarm PZN. Biofarm PZN lost third consecutive game. Kotwica will meet higher ranked Ksiezak Lowicz (#3) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Biofarm PZN will play against Pogon Prudnik (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
